I am finally here at Ox-Bow artist residency. It was a long journey to get here. My friend Ting and I drove up to Chicago for about 13 hours, stayed in Chicago for a night, then another about 3 hours drive to Sautaguck, Michigan. Returned our rental car and paid a taxi guy $100 (!!!!!) to get to the residency. Oh man...
Yet when Shanna and Kathy (administrators here) showed us around the campus and our rooms, I was thrilled. It's beautiful here and food is delicious.
I'll be updating more often here about Ox-Bow and my progression with work. Will I be cutting flowers again? Oh yes...
